Rumour: Cream in NYC, October 24-26

Relix magazine reports:

Cream will perform three shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on October 24, 25 and 26. While no official statement has been made, these performances are believed to be the band’s first full stateside shows since disbanding in the late 1960s. As previously reported, Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker reunited in early May for a series of appearances at London’s Royal Albert Hall. With the exception of a 1993 reunion at the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, those three shows marked the group’s first performance since disbanding in 1968.
