It's an unusual name for an unusual band: C-Mon & Kypski, a Dutch electronica quartet. Their new album Where The Wild Things Are... is all over the place, and some of those places I'd rather not visit ever again like the boring jazzy track Spirits High. There are a few gems on it as well, like the offkilter Circus C-Mon & Kypski featuring the Amsterdam Klezmer Band, the rocker/spoken word mashup Make My Day and the single Bumpy Road. C-Mon & Kypski have good taste, but don't invite all of your friends to play on your album. Less is indeed more.
