Josie Cotton is a bit weird. She is into B-movies form the sixties and seventies. Into it big time. Her new collection of cover songs on her Invasion of the B-Girls album celebrates maneaters, green slime, some monsters and other shit that happened down in the valley of the dolls. It's camp, it's cult, it's plastic and it will cheer you up.
Director John Waters (who made the original Hair Spray, and Cry-Baby) gave her a nice write up in the liner notes. Warning: you are definitely going to rent some of those cult classics after listening to this album.
Invasion of the B-Girls is released on Scruffy Records.
