Ever wondered what the Velvets would have come up with if they had two English singers during their Loaded sessions? London band Morning Bride comes close with loose arrangements sounding like they were recorded in a - albeit quite tidy - garage. Their latest single Stepping Out in Front Of Cars got some mainstream publicity when it was included on the cover CD of UK magazine The Word. They have an album out right now, called Lea Valley Delta Blues, a bluesy folkish record that gets better and better after each spin. Britpop for the thinking music lover.
Lea Valley Delta Blues is released on Letterbox Records.
