Things in Herds: Nothing is Lost

Nothing is Lost is an album that taps you gently on the shoulder demanding your undivided attention. Folk duo Things in Herds use their signature sparse instrumentation, mostly only guitar, piano, some harmonica and drums. Pete Lush writes the stuff and Miss Ping comes up with the musical imagery as well as the cover art. No fluff and filler on the fourth album by this Brighton band. They have added another compelling chapter to the big book of carefully constructed folk songs. Best served with a nice cup of tea and cucumber sandwiches.
