Catherine MacLellan has been slowly building her reputation as a folk singer. Her self-released 2007 album Church Bell Blues gets a well deserved second change through a re-release by a "real" record label. She an introspective soft spoken singer, but she has s a sharp look out on live. She has been compared with Joni Mitchell, but she is more down to earth. Her lyrics aim for your heart and your guts. Comes with cool mandolin picking by James Philips.
Church Bell Blues is released on CD by True North Records. Download from iTunes.
