The Bloodsugars, a Brooklyn band, peddle left-field pop tunes. Their 6-track BQEP won't make them overnight millionaires, but for it will be picked by anyone who craves for Television sans the intellectual posing. The EP was mixed by Dan Hetzel (Blondie et al.), so what you have here is a very New York record: proud, loud, and you can dance to it.
BQEP is released on Engine Room Recordings.
