Jazzrock trio Medeski Martin & Wood have announced Radiolarians II, the second installment of their "improvised in the studio before transferring it to the live stage" trilogy. The album will be released on April 14th. Part 3 will see the light of day on August 4, 2009. The three albums will eventually be compiled into a limited-edition boxed set with extensive packaging and bonus audio and video content.
