Greycoats: Setting Fire To The Great Unknown

The members of Minneapolis band Greycoats suffer from military fetishism. Dressing up as soldiers they promise liberation, revolution and all that. Their music however doesn't put up much of a fight. They want to be big and epic, but they sound like a second hand Coldplay. Only two tracks of their album Setting Fire To The Great Unknown keep you from dozing off - That Great And Terrible Day has the only memorable guitar hooks and Goodbye, Sweet Youth, Goodbye is a showcase for the vocal abilities of the band.

Lock 'em up in a room and expose them to The Final Cut for a couple of hours.

Greycoats:
Jon Reine: guitar
Mike smith: drums
Titus Decker: keyboards
Matt Patrick: bass
