Singer/songwriter Lindsay Aline is blessed with a crystal clear singing voice, sounding a bit like Tori Amos and a hint of Kate Bush. That said, she isn't as accomplished when it comes to songwriting. Her self-titled album is collection of innocent songs that all sound the same. It's the kind of music that you might be hearing in a coffee shop, not interfering with the clienteles banter about shoes, clothing and why-doesn't-he-call-me.
A well meaning producer should have told her to diverse and divert. With her vocal range that shouldn't be a problem.
Lindsay Aline is a self-released album. Buy it through her website.
