Missed You At The Show, a acoustic pop quintet from from Manchester, have that typical rather sad undertone that is associated with Northern England. When they get laid, they feel guilty about it (Suburban Kids). They can't escape the ghost of The Smiths, which features rather prominently in their guitar work.
They have a knack for catchy melodies and incorporating adventurous times signature and their self-titled EP sounds clear and balanced. Still, a few things are missing on this debut: urgency and taking risks. Maybe they are been paying a little too much attention when they are attending class studying music at the University of Salford.
Missed You At The Show is a self-released EP.
