NYC singer Saadi mixes the sounds of her Syrian roots with shoegaze dance beats and the ambient output of Brian Eno. Her Bad Seeds EP is a pretty good soundtrack for an early Spring day.
For once the remixes make sense. Dodecahedron from her Clothesline album gets a makeover by The Soundmen and Galactic Classics). Recommended if you like The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Obi Best, The Bird and The Bee.
