Vancouver rock quartet Lions In The Street have been caught in legal Hell when their label went bust. They resurfaced in 2009 with a self-titled full-length. Gigging kept the band afloat since then and now a new EP sees the light of day. On The Lam is filled with five loud and abrasive blues rockers.
With a Stones-y two men guitar front line, tasty harmonica and snippets of keyboards and piano colouring their sound they have reinvented Classic rock. The Lions In The Street are back with a mighty roar.
Lions In The Street:
Chris Kinnon: guitar, vocals
Sean Casey: guitar
Enzo Figliuzzi: bass
Jeff Kinnon: drums, organ
On The Lam is released on Beverly Martel Records. Release date: February 19.
