Dutch rock quartet Atlantic Attraction hit the ground running with their debut EP Home, four radio friendly songs with a bit of power pop thrown in to higlight the underlying melody. They go for a big sound, treating each show as if they are playing in a sold out arena. They honed their craft during a few outdoor festivals and upstaged the main act when supported bands like Kensington and Young The Giant.
No points for musical invention, but if you want a batch of well-executed energetic rock anthems, Atlantic Attraction delivers and with gusto. They will get a warm welcome when they hit the stage at Werfpop in their hometown Leiden on July 14th.
Atlantic Attraction:
Kevin de Haas: vocals, guitar
Arend Lakke: guitar
Joris van der Poel: bass
Sibren Huijsmans: drums
