Guitarist Jake Evans has grown a lot as a vocalist since he stepped up to the mike as member of Bad Lieutenant. This Is Life, his new single, has all the trappings of a power pop anthem.
Evans has been valued member of bands fronted by Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and Jimi Goodwin. As a busy sideman it's no wonder that This Is Life is only his second release as a solo artist.
