Can two 19-year-olds come up with a dark and deep alt-country folk song? York duo The Lungs proof that it can be done with their debut single Barrel. a soft-spoken put-down track with rather good lyrics. Bonnie Milnes and Theo Mason Wood (guitar, vocals) are a study in contrasts, with Milnes' crystal clear vocals bouncing off Nick Cave-esque delivery of Wood.
