Producer/sounddesigner Marcel Caron and songwriter/producer Ico Balt are Snoet & Smoel, a Dutch duo who have been working together since 2007. Based in Leeuwarden they've acted as producers for a number of upcoming local indie bands (Sväva, The Future’s Dust, When We Are Wild).
As a much in demand team they don't have much time for their own material, but between jobs they've have created the dreamy instrumental Ascend, a meandering track on top of a slowly pulsating beat track.
