The Drip Dry Man & The Beat Revolver keep it simple: play bluesy songs with tons of references to sex. That's how rock 'n' roll started about 60 years ago and it still works. The Anglo/Dutch/Belgian band named their new album Fuck and Forget (the vinyl version is split into two sides to accommodate the concept). With distorted guitars and cocky come hither vocals they tear through ten all-killer-no-filler garage rock songs.
Sure, it's sleazy and they will be accused of being sexist and what-not, but these guys are in it to raise hell and have a good time. The New York Dolls and The Stooges teamed up with Tom Waits and a wonderful time is had by all.
The Drip Dry Man & The Beat Revolver:
Peter De Bosschere: drums, backing vocals
Tomas Gons: guitar
Bart Maris: trumpets
Drip Dry Man: vocals
Luc Waegeman: bass, guitars, backing vocals
Fuck and Forget is a self-released album. Buy it from the band's website.
