UK pop artist Prints Jackson takes a bow to the Pixies and the Beatles on his new single Alexanders Dark Band, episode 21 of his "one new song each month till the day I die" project.
The track is pushed forward by a grumbling, melodic bass line. By changing pace within the song quite a few time Jackson is growing fast as a composer. He dares to take risks and get out of the mold of the basic structure, making it his most ambitious effort to date.
Alexanders Dark Band is a self-released single. Buy it (pay-what-you-want) from his website.
