Keyboardist Morgane Lhote is a household name in the electronic dance music scene. She was a member of Stereolab and and her playing eas a key element to the sound of Simian Mobile Disco and Garden. Her new solo project Hologram Teen is a continuation of her signature sound: jumpy and melodic at the same time.
With the vinyl only single Post-Apocalypteacakes b/w Tracksuit Minotaur Lhote caters to the French disco/Eurohouse niche. An early Nineties rhythm tracks coalesces with a Sci-fi spoken word bits. The vocals are drenched in old school effects, tailor-made for late night horror shows about aliens taking over planet Earth.
