Danish folk singer Kjartan Bue incorporated a bit of prog into his new single Die of Paradise. He is a traditionalist in touch with the 21st Century anti-folk and freak-folk niches. Relying on wooden string-instruments to conjure up the image of workers harvesting spinach in France (he wrote the song working alongside them) Bue tells the tale of farmers and their hopes and fears. He envies them, but as an incurable wanderer he knows it isn't a life he can embrace.
Die of Paradise is a self-released single. Free download from Soundcloud.
