UK pop artist Prints Jackson's new single Open the Sky, episode 27 of his "one new song each month till the day I die" project, is a return to form after last month's clunker. A dance rock anthem heavy on Eighties references on top of a crispy, foot-tapping inducing bass line. Tongue-in-cheek stuff that works like a charm.
The accompanying video is a mash-up of footage from Top Gun and Ferris Bueller Day Off.
Open the Sky is a self-released single. Buy it (pay-what-you-want) from his website.
