Swiss/Canadian indie duo Peter Kernel have laid low quite some time, after they had released their Thrill Addict album in January 2015. But now they are back with a new single, There's Nothing Like You. Aris Bassetti and Barbara Lehnhoff have gone all out for this track, a truly weird sounding but fascinating slice of avant-pop. It's about being over the world with joy and being utterly depressed within the same time frame.
There's Nothing Like You is released on 7" vinyl on December 7th, with the otherwise unavailable track Kanada on the B-side, thru On the Camper Records. Buy it from their website. A new album, The Size Of The Night, will see the light of day on March 7th, 2018.
They will be on tour in expanded format, performing as Peter Kernel & Their Wicked Orchestra. A special LP of that line-up will be available as a tour only exclusive at the merch table.
