Bedford band Don Broco: wrap their concerns in highly accessible power rock. Their Technology album comes to close to glitzy boy-band fodder, but the lyrics are a notch above the ultra-commercial boys-meet-girl that comes by that.
Early teens will love them - they sing about their shirts off too, but they should develop their rock edge if they want to make a lasting impression on other age groups. O, and somebody should slap their wrists when they reach for the vocals effects on the mixing console. If you can actually sing, there's no need to R&B that shit.
Don Broco:
Rob Damiani: vocals
Matt Donnelly: drums
Simon Delaney: guitar
Tom Doyle: bass
