London folk duo The Bull Brothers have an uncanny vocal connection. Their new single This Is What Happens is a blend of the melancholy and sadness of the Everly Brothers and a hint of Chris Isaac, topped off with a whiff of electronics serving as the back beat.
They could be mistaken for an American act, if not for producer Matt Ingram who made sure that there's plenty of Englishness in their music. The brothers are scaling the walls between genres and enjoying the view when they are on top of one, before proceeding to the next one.
Their new EP will be released later this year.
