Belgian noise dance rock sextet Statue stand out with their line-up of four guitarists and a single bass player and drummer. They are on the road tor promote their latest album Kasper:
(..) a hard-hitting mix of Nine Inch Nails, Sonic Youth, New Order and even Television. The nine instrumentals whizz and purr, growl and moan, dance and jump with barely a chance to catch your breath. It's a trip into the dark, uncharted backwaters of repetitive, sparse and sometimes surprisingly melodic noise that can drive an audience into a frenzy. Those who can't stand the heat and the volume will be long gone by then.Live dates:
