Canadian psychedelic rock band MIEN have a couple of shows coming up in Europe, playing shows in the UK, France and The Netherlands.
Alex Maas (vocals, samples, loops - The Black Angels), Tom Furse (keyboards, programming - The Horrors), Rishi Dhir (bass, sitar, keyboards - Elephant Stone) and John-Mark Lapham (keyboards, samples, programming- The Earlies) mix an Eighties industrial drum sound with Sixties melodies, a clash of styles that works out pretty good. Dark and foreboding, but served with elegance.
