Bay area garage punk trio Neutrals try to escape from being outsiders on their new single Technical College, but it turns out that doesn't work out anymore. After fleeing Scotland to set up shop in sunny California, singer Allan McNaughton finds that the ghosts from the past have followed him and the counterculture he hoped to find has become a joke. It's no longer a way of life, but a fashionable attitude.
It is a track from their forthcoming debut album Kebab Disco, out on June 7th via Emotional Response Records (vinyl, digital).
Neutrals:
Allan McNaughton: guitar, vocals
Phil Benson: bass, vocals
Phil Lantz: drums
