For those who are in need for wall-to-wall analogue synths: English quartet Empathy Test are here to fix that. Their latest single Monsters moves at a leisurely pace, but something really bad about to happen any time soon, making it a perfect song for thee weird and scary times. Singer Isaac Howlett projects paranoia and fear, floating above the intricate soundscapes that have a distinct old school sci-fi feel. It is the title track from their new album, out on May 22nd.
Empathy Test:
Isaac Howlett: vocals
Chrisy Lopez: drums
Oliver Marson: keys
Adam Relf: production
Monsters is a self-released single. Buy it (pay-what-you-want) from their website.
