Dario Pozderski, bass player with Dutch Eighties inspired rockers Morgendust was forced to flee his country Bosnia, with only his backpack and instrument (in two pieces). He found his bearings in Zwolle, replied to an ad for a band who needed a man to hold down the bottom end. Fast forward to 2020 and two of those musicians are still with him.
The new Alien single is about the refugee crisis and the basic human right to life in freedom, 75 years after the Second World War ended. They paint with broad strokes to get the message across, but sometimes you have to shout to be heard.
