Theatrical singer Amanda Palmer goes orchestral with her new single A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square. Composed in 1940 by Manning Sherwin, with lyrics by Tommie Connor, she performed it with the BBC Symphony Orchestra @ the Barbican Hall in London on 12 November, 2019. It's about late night parties, falling in love, and melancholy, although not necessarily in that order.
A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square is a self-released single. Buy it (pay-what-you-want) from her website.
