Belgian multi-instrumentalist Wim Lankriet has constructed a towering wall of sound for Farewell to Greatness, the debut single by his Euphemia Rise project. He mixes elements of psychedelic and gothic rock, with a gentle piano chord progresssion acting as a guide through his twisted musical landscape. Recommended if you like early Pink Floyd, Bauhaus and the Sisters of Mercy.
The accompanying video is a collaboration with visual artist Itzel Bernal.
