Swedish multi-instrumentalist Emanuel Tägil stretches the boundaries of art-pop on his new single, Knock Away, a song about reviving a relationship by putting up a wall between him and his lover and then gentle tapping on it to make a fresh start. The pulsating back beat is augmented by Joel Lindblom's (trombone), with Martina Lundkvist's (backing vocals) as the icing on the cake.
Knock Away is released via Messy Weekend Records. It is the title track from his forthcoming new album.
