Welsh indie power pop band Swansea Sound have made a video for Rock N Roll Void, a rollicking ode to bands that made a lasting impression on them when they were kids - lead singer Hue Williams saw the Ramones when he was 13. That kind of excitement is hard to replicate, but they have made it their quest to play high energy songs, often with a political message to the powers that be in general and the music industry in particular. Case in point: their Indies Of The World and Corporate Indie Band singles.
Rock N Roll Void is the first track from their debut album Live at the Rum Puncheon, due for release on November 19 via Lavender Sweep Records (cassette - UK), HHBTM Records (vinyl - North America), Skep Wax Records (vinyl - UK/Europe), Austin Town Hall Records (cassette - North America) and Shiny Happy Records (cassette - Indonesia). Don't look for their songs on the big time streaming services. They are not on it.
