Oakland based slacker shoegaze duo The Acharis have made a video for False Positive, a single from their forthcoming new album Blue Sky / Grey Heaven: "Based on a riff that had been on Shaun Wagner's back burner since he was a teenager, it is basically about wandering around thinking about what to do next. The lyrics don't try to tell a full, coherent, because that just doesn't work in a rock song. He thought of calling it Elephant at one time, citing The Smashing Pumpkins, but he changed his mind and decided to go out screaming "There’s an elephant in the room. A rhinoceros. A hippopotamus. It’s true". Anyone who has ever felt depressed, can relate to that".
The clip was directed by Elyse Schrock, with aditional Footage by Adrien Saenz.
