Psych-pop veteran Anton Barbeau embraces the synth sound of the early 80s on his new single, Rain, Rain, making good use of his Roland XP-10, an instrument with a signature tone that is tailor-made for his nasal delivery.
Tons of sad love songs have written on this vintage instrument since it came on the market, but Barbeau always finds something new to make it fresh and interesting. It is the lead single from his forthcoming new album, Power Pop!!!, due for release on March 25 via Big Stir Records.
