English indie band Wet Leg are preparing for a party on their new single, Angelica. Like most parties, the actual happening itself is a bit if a disappointment, but it gave them ample opportunity to come up with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Fronted by singers Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers they project a leisurely image, as if they don't care, but they are fully aware of where they are going: to become this year's critics darlings as well as an act that will set any venue on the rock clubs circuit.
It is a track from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, due for release on April 8, 2022 via Domino. The video was directed Lavaland.
