A previously unreleased Charles Mingus will be released as a 3LP for Record Store Day (April 23). The Lost Album from Ronnie Scott’s was recorded at the London jazz club in August 1972. The bass legend band for that night featured alto saxophonist Charles McPherson, tenor saxophonist Bobby Jones, trumpeter Jon Faddis, pianist John Foster and drummer Roy Brooks.
3000 copies worldwide on 180-gram vinyl. The set was mastered by Bernie Grundman.
