Jazz pianist Dave Brubeck was forced to play as a trio in Vienna in 1967, after saxophonist Paul Desmond had missed his flight. The show will be released on LP for Record Store Day (April 23). Rising to the occasion with Joe Morello on drums and Gene Wright on bass the trio found new ways for improvisation an soloing. 3500 copies worldwide via Brubeck Editions. The CD version hits the shops on April 15.
