Baltimore based singer Alison Ramirez created a slice of upbeat, lo-fi Summer pop with Grocery Store Flowers, the new single by her Peach Face project. She has a way with words that is pretty rare in her chosen genre: "I’ve got // A plastic skeleton in my room // Crying porcelain babies // Holding a bracelet that was turning me blue // Somebody else’s teeth inside a nesting doll // Photo booth pictures // From a time when my hair was blonde".
The infectious melody has plenty of ear-worm potential as well, making it a dead ringer for both highly critical indie and mainstream playlists. It is the title track from her new album, due for release on May 20th.
Live date:- 06/03 Baltimore, MD @ Ottobar
