Indie pop band Walcot sing about heartbreak and hoping for better times on their new Songs For The Disenfranchised EP. Musically, they stay close to the mainstream, with the vocals up front and jangling guitars. The keyboard parts and the upright bass give the songs a little kick, something they should consider developing a bit further to give the lyrical complexity the backing it deserves.
Walcot:
Asher George: vocals, guitar
Mario Gonzalez: rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Chuck Lacy: drums
Chris Mahieu: keyboards
Matthew Thompson: upright bass
