Brooklyn singer Jessie Kilguss aims for a place in the Great American Book with her new single, Great White Shark. It is piece of orchestrated pop that is way too smart for Broadway, with her crystal clear vocals smack in the middle of the mix, courtesy of Charlie Nieland. It is a taste from her forthcoming new album What Do Whales Dream About at Night?, due for release on September 24, her first new album since The Fastness came out four years ago.
Jessie Kilguss: vocals
Brian Griffin: drums, percussion, piano strings & backing vocals
Whynot Jansveld: bass, piano strings & backing vocals
Naren Rauch: guitars, keys, piano strings & backing vocals
Great White Shark is a self-released single. Buy it from her website.
