Brighton based sextet Opus Kink have released Dust, the lead single from their forthcoming new EP My Eyes, Brother. It is a pretty dark one, the kind of tune that will erupt from the speakers shortly before the shit hits the fan. They use plenty of echo, embrace feedback like a long lost friend, and they are howling saxophone bits clashing with shards glam rock and the outerskirts of New Wave. Their live audiences will try to get a moshpit going, only to be baffled by the breaks and changes of tempo. In other words: it is pretty great.
Dust is released via Nice Swan Records. The new EP My Eyes, Brother will be released on May 18th.
