Italian Emmecosta, a post-dream pop trio who left their hometown Positano to set up shop in Sweden, try to offer some solace to people from different backgrounds who are trying to connect on their new single Laek. One of them hails from the mountains, the other from the lake, and it is quite a challenge to find common ground. It is a soft-spoken track, mixing acoustic and electronic elements, with the dreamy vocals commandeering the spotlights in an unobstrusive way.
Laek is released via Icons Creating Evil Art. Their debut album Overnight will be released on April 14th.
HCTF review of Effort.
