Bossa nova meets art-pop again on Ghost of the Party, the new single by stylish London based Mylar quartet. No nee to change the recipe when it worked so well on earlier releases. Written from the perspective from an outsider it gradually becomes clear that the feelings of being left out are mostly self-inflicted. Worrying what others may think can be crippling in social interaction. A smooth sounding track serving as empowerment, that's pretty rare.
Ghost of the Party is a track from their forthcoming new EP, Human Statues, due for release on March 30th via Blue Flowers.
Live dates:- 03/30 London, UK @ Shacklewell Arms
