Seattle based The National Honor Society sound quite British on their new single As She Slips Away, with jangling guitars straight out of the Belle & Sebastian playbook. Add a bit of West Coast harmonizing and presto: a tasty slice of melancholic dream pop to listen to when it's raining cats and dogs outside.
It is the opening track from their forthcoming new album To All The Distance Between Us, due for release on April 21 via the trifecta of Shelflife, Discos de Kirlian & Subjangle Records.
