English baroque-pop quartet Tugboat Captain make the prospect of an ecological collapse sounds rather cheerful on their new single, Deep Sea Diving. They refer to Supertramp as a source for inspiration, but there is also a bit of early Seventies Kinks in there wiht the bubbling keyboards and Alexander Sokolow's careful vocal delivery - "maybe we are running on borrowed time". They are tons of musical twists and turns to dissect, but all of them make perfect sense.
