Glaswegian post-punk quartet Declan Welsh & The Decadent West are in plaintive mode on their new single I Don't Know Why, a bass-driven post-punk song from the perspective of a girl about a relationship that has seen better days. Religion doesn't help either. It is a track from their forthcoming second album, named rather unimaginatively named 2, due for release in September 22 via Frictionless Music.
I Don't Know Why is available on all the usual digital outlets.
