Brighton based sextet Opus Kink go for a slow burn approach on their new single, 1 : 18, turning up the pace and the volume until they reach a proper freak folk level with punk leanings, with sax and trumpet clamouring for dominance. It is another taste from their forthcoming new EP My Eyes, Brother!, scheduled for release on May 19th via Nice Swan Records.
Opus Kink:
Angus Rogers: lead vocals, guitars
Sam Abbo: bass, backing vocals
Fin Abbo: drums, percussion
Jazz Pope: keys, synth, backing vocals
Jack Banjo Courtney: trumpet
Jed Morgans: saxophone
