Glaswegian indie quartet Declan Welsh & The Decadent West are dipping their toes in home made disco on their Doing Great, quite a change from their usual rough-around-the-edges rock leanings. Lyrically their snarling approach has survived this sharp musical left, even after they decided to put a rather superfluous layer of backing vocals on it.
